It’s almost 8pm

Why are the mowers, trimmers, and blowers still going on nonstop? My kid needs to sleep.

Um, because it's a gorgeous evening? And it's still light out?

I say this as an adult who goes to sleep at 8pm.

Put on white noise for your kids. Close your windows.

Noise ordinance doesn’t start until 9 pm

This has nothing to do with my neighbors. Everyone uses a lawn care company here.

My dh loves to mow right at dusk. But yeah, noise ordinance doesn’t start until 9

There is zero way that a legit lawn care company is working at almost 8 pm, especially when sunset was at 7:45.

Banning gas powered leaf blowers wasn’t enough for you. I bet now you’re going to want to ban mowers and make quiet hours start at 7:30 pm.

Mowing and it’s not even 8pm? Not a big deal.

Haha you haven’t seen my neighbors lawn service- they show up with mowers with headlights and mow at 10 pm. Ridiculous. I mean I get it if they are hiding from ICE but this has been going on for years.

Cooler not being in the direct mid day sun.

9 or 10pm is usually curfew for loud noises like that. 8 is still too early.

Is this Fairfax County?

My dad used to do this when I was a kid. He got home from work at 7 pm and we were at kid athletic events all weekend. That was when he had time.
