Trump is backing away from mandating insurance companies cover IVF - https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/white-house-backs-away-ivf-coverage-mandate-despite-trumps-campaign-pledge-2025-08-03/
Hope all conservatives who need IVF are ready to pay out the nose for it. Congrats. |
Oh wait, people thought he was trustworthy from his campaign promises? |
My IVF baby is now 22 y.o. I was initially hopeful for others who might benefit from the mandating of fertility coverage promised by Trump. Unsurprisingly, this will turn out to be another empty promise. It turns out that, like most things in life, actually delivering on something is a lot harder than talking about it. |
From that article: "White House officials say expanding IVF access remains a priority, but legal constraints prevent mandating coverage without Congressional approval, and no bill is currently planned, the report added."
Wait, so "legal constraints" and "Congressional approval" ARE a thing? When did that happen? Does that only apply when he wants to break a promise? |
The IVF,
They call it IVF. It's in vitro. That means in the vitro. Notta lotta people know that. |
God, of all the lies he told during the campaign this was one of the most obvious ones. |
Did he have an IVF baby? |
If people haven't figured out by now that Trump lies to get what he wants... |
I’m a Trump voter. My insurance paid for my IVF. Some insurances pay for the procedure. You just have to find the right plan. |
Those only apply when it's something he doesn't care about doing. |
Trump said he was going to force all the plans to cover it. Not everyone has the opportunity to find the right plan. |
Many do not cover it. It definitely should not be allowed but many do not cover it. |
|
How about: Why is INFERTILITY skyrocketing?? Does poisoned food supply matter? Tons of other reasons, as well. |
I remember seeing in the news a probationary Fed who voted for Trump and got fired. She voted mainly for the promise of mandated IVF coverage. |
