Adding nickname on ParentVue for kindergartener?

| My rising kindergartener goes by a nickname, which does not appear in the nickname field for him on ParentVue, just his full name which he never uses. Is there a way to add it myself (I don't see one) or do I need to ask someone to do it for me? Or does no one ever look at/use the nickname field there anyway so it doesn't matter? Thanks! |

| This is something that the school needs to do for you. I worked with the secretary to get the name to appear as the nickname by default. They had to call over to central office to figure out how to do it. (My kid hates his first name and only wants to go by his nickname.) This did not formally change the name -- it's still listed under his regular name -- but all correspondence comes to us under his nickname and the teacher by default uses his nickname. |
