My 15 year old DS wears a size 15 shoe and I cannot find firm ground cleats anywhere. Most brands stop at size 13 with the exception of Puma, which he blows through each fall/spring season. Any suggestions?! |
TBH sounds like he may be too tall for soccer. Exhibit A counselor. Perhaps time to bust out that basketball? |
Maybe one of the soccer specialty stores like Soccer Post might be able to order foe you |
OP here. Ha! He’s also 6’. Soccer is the sport. At least if I can keep him in cleats. |
Those are really big feet for only 6'0. |
He is right where he needs to be. The current Columbus Crew U15 back line is about 6’ 3” - 6’ 4” and they can move. Kids should the play they love, not the one we calculate our highest idea of success for. OP, give PJs a ring in addition to Soccer Post noted above. Hopefully, they can at least advice you as I imagine this is not the first time this has happened: https://www.pjsoccerlacrosse.com/. |
My nephew also wears a size 15 and really struggles to find cleats. Anytime they came across them, they would buy them.
He and his parents ended up reaching out directly to the manufacturers and it was hit or miss on what they would come back with. Under Amour seemed to be the most responsive. Good Luck. FWIW, my nephew is a rising senior and is 6'4". |
