Most expensive vacation you’ve ever taken?

How much did you spend?
How many people?
What was the vacation?

Greek islands. 30k all in airfare and hotel.

Alaskan cruise for five people. Maybe a bit over $20k with everything, but counting a couple excursions that were grandparents’ “treat.” Those probably would have added $3k

Sorry, NOT counting.

I really don't know.....and probably don't want to! My husband plans our international trips and he does a lot of research into top hotels at a reasonable cost. Since we fly first class (lie down seats) I know we must spend a lot. In cities we hire private tour guides, eat at very nice restaurants and when we drive in the country it's a MB or BMW.

We went for 2 weeks to Hawaii ( 3 different islands), three of us and paid 15K, that was back in 2006. I thought that was a lot of money, but the vacation was spectacular ( we booked it through travel agency and they arranged hotels/flights between islands for us).

In the late 90s, my grandparents took me and my cousins to London - we stayed in a penthouse double apartment at the Grosvenor House, ate at Mr. Chow’s and my grandfathers club.

It was probably $70k at the time.

Not sure of the final tab but probably a Baltic cruise that included St Petersburg, plus some time in Stockholm..

I guess Machu Picchu plus Galapagos was a lot too.

$40k for 4 of us, 2 weeks in Equador, one week in an Ecolodge in the rainforest, one week on a small boat touring the Galapagos Islands.

Bucket list trip and worth every penny (and no, that is not how much we usually spend on travel).

I am genuinely curious why you would post an answer when you have no answer to the question (amount) to provide.

Milestone anniversary trip to Italy in the $25k range for a family of four. Business class air, five-star hotels, yacht rental, private tours, Michelin meals. It was one to remember!

On a long flight, I once decided to pay an extra $142 for Economy Plus. Good times.

Then proceeded to drop $20,000 on three months of traveling through China - all of it. Worth every penny.
