Have alternates been notified?

Have all alternates been notified if they are swimming at divisionals tomorrow? And what is the probability someone will scratch tomorrow morning?

This is a Wendy's; in the whole league, 100%.

It is pretty rare for an alternate to swim at divisionals. A swimmer would need to get hurt or ill, which is something that shouldn’t be hoped for!

Now for All Stars? There is more movement for alternates due to preplanned travel.

We've had it happen every year in NVSL Divisions 8-9-10. Sometimes they know early enough to call the next on the list. One time it was literally 'is there any 15-18 girl here with a suit and not two events who wants to swim?!' That time it was an empty lane in the end...

at this point all teams know who got the bid in spots. So not likely, but you really never know.

Our division just put in three alternates. (Double-digits).

I've seen it happen twice- once was a false start, and they let another kid swim. The other time I'm not sure what happened, but someone else jumped in and came in second, lol

We had one in our division that was notified this morning that they had a spot.

We did too, like two minutes before he swam! And he did awesome!

We had multiple scratches in our division this morning - a girl from another team drove over and jumped in and swam fly!
