I thought it was a fake rumor but it looks like it’s real.

Noooooo! |
Trump retaliation. Part of the settlement. |
Why does this company want to even buy CBS? What a terrible Network. |
Larry Ellison. Turned RWNJ somewhere along the road. |
We'll watch Colbert wherever he lands. Strange times. Indeed. |
Wow I’m sure all 20,000 people who watched are really sad. |
+1 |
Show continues until May 2026 so a lot can happen between now and then and yes, he’ll be sought after (and the 200 staff) as he’s been top rated late night show for last 9 years. Kimmel has also said he won’t go again when his contract is up, Taylor Tomlinson already said she’s going back to standup -so with them and then Colbert and Corden gone will be very different late night lineup for basic broadcast. |
![]() He stopped being even mildly amusing years ago. |
He’ll come out on top. |
But he’s not Skydance. Larry’s son David founded Skydance and David puts his $ to Dem- gave to the Biden Victory Fund in the first quarter of 2024. |
Sobif majority of Skydance's donations are directed towards Democratic candidates and committees (according to OpenSecrets.org top recipients of Skydance's political donations include Elizabeth Warren, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Lucy McBath, and Katie Porter), are people thinking cancellation is same as Colbert called the $16 million? A hope the action has govt approve merger? |
#1 late night show, but I realize your side doesn't care about facts |
Had terrible ratings and will certainly not be the last of these late night shows to be cancelled. The problem is the show just became an I hate Trump program and that turns off more than half of the country. More men watch late night anyway and they are not buying what is being sold. The last skit on the fake Melania was plain mean spirited. No way they would be done to Michele Obama. Colbert used to be funny but he just became bitter and mean. John Carson is never to be replaced. He understood that his role is not politics. These late night guys could learn something. Kimmel will be the next to go. He just goes on and on and on and not funny. |
