They both are mediocre at best. The parents take the gold medal for making both a summer of fun, laughs, and unhinged absurdity. |
Low effort troll post |
From all of the other posts on this site, it sounds like posters from both leagues think their kids are the next olympians (yes, I'm talking to you Mr/Mrs 8&under parent). |

At least in the 15-18s MCSL is far superior. The NVSL kids aren’t tough enough for 100 meter races |
Literally who cares |
No need to wonder, start here with your research:
https://www.pvswim.org/toptimes.html But understand a swimmer’s best events might be longer than a 50 or 100. |
So based on this data, this dispels the notion that the other poster said the 15-18s in mcsl are better. NoVa has the better swimmers at the 15-18 age group. Not even close. |
What is happening here? It’s summer swim!!! There are good, great, and still developing swimmers in both leagues.
As parents can we try to adult a little bit more and let some things like summer swim be more fun?! |
I think that poster was being tongue in cheek, but keep in mind that many of the fast 15-18 year olds in VA, especially girls, don’t swim in NVSL. A lot of them are in Loudoun and Prince William counties. |
MoCo has the craziest parents, NoVa has the better swimmers. |
Based on the numerous NVSL parents posting here- it's the opposite by a mile. You Virginian's are a lil loco!! |
No discernible difference in parental insanity levels. Both are not ff the charts. |
