But why isn’t the school name listed? Is this supposed to be a cover up to not make the school look bad?

Eh. I'm glad the police and MCPS took it seriously, but think it is fine for the media to shield the identity of a minor, as is common practice.

Ask the police? They are the ones who refused to name the school. I'm assuming some other factor, such as special needs. I don't need to know absolutely every disciplinary action that happens across the district, and certainly not every time a kid is involved with the juvenile justice system. |
