I work in Navy Yard. Over the past month, I've seen the Ward 8 campaign play out in signs attached to light posts. First, Sheila Bunn's signs went up. Then Mike Austin's went up. Finally, Salim Adofo's signs went up last week. A few of Bunn's and Austin's signs came down around then.
Today, Election Day, only Adofo's signs remain. While there is little enforcement in DC on anything, especially around elections (other than the Goulet-Bergmann-Duncan-Silverman idiotic dustup, and even that ended with wrist slaps), I am guessing we can expect zero consequences. But seeing this sort of behavior makes me worried that if Adofo wins, we will just be seeing another Ward 8 special election in a few years. |

| OP here. In case I wasn't clear (posted too fast) - there are only Adofo signs up now with all other candidates' signs illegally removed. |

| Yeah, I voted Adofo, but he got the least votes. Wish they hadn't split the anti-Trayon vote like that. |
