I’m making an arugula, cherry and goat cheese salad (recipe from the NYT), bread, and a fruit tart for dessert. What main would you suggest? Thanks!

Salmon is a great idea. Any particular recipe? I think the BBQ chicken, with its strong flavor, might overwhelm the salad, which is pretty subtle.

Marinated pork tenderloin or sautéed chicken in a light, simple cream sauce or brown butter sauce.

I just meant bbqing chicken on a bbq. It doens't have to include bbq sauce at all.

Why not say Grilled? “barBecuing on a bbq” is still misleading if you didn’t mean bbq chicken

+1 for the pork tenderloin. Something like a honey dijon or balsamic marinade, then roast or grill it.

The salad sounds delicious, by the way!
