Please let me know if there is one you recommend. We will have two 16 year old girls with us. Thanks!

We actually had amazing sushi in Barcelona. I’m not sure why everyone is being snarky, they have more than one Michelin rated sushi restaurant

No joke, but I had Italian food twice in Tokyo that was far better than anything I had in Italy.

Then you picked really poorly when you were in Italy.

This is OP- we are in a town on the ocean, I am sure the sushi is great. We have approximately 20 other meals to enjoy Spanish food. Thanks to posters who helped!

I still find this strange. What you seek is seafood - not every seaside location is a Mecca for sushi.

You do know that none of that sushi will be locally caught fish, right? Anyway, Barcelona has a thriving restaurant scene, and I'm sure you'll find decent sushi there. I did not have sushi when I was three, but I can recommend another restaurant for your 20 other meals that might not be on your radar---it's small, welcoming, and the food is excellent: https://www.instagram.com/el_set_barcelona/?hl=en

The best food we had in Germany was Indian restaurants.

If you don't eat red meat, sushi in Barcelona seems like a good option.

Nah. The Japanese just do everything better. They put everyone to shame even with their own cuisines.
