Camera at camp

Our son is heading back to sleepaway camp for two weeks on Sunday and would like to bring a camera to camp. Any suggestions for anything cheap to send him with? The camp doesn't allow electronics but he says cameras are OK.

We purchased a Fuji waterproof disposable camera for one week outdoor trekking week at camp. It worked fine but only allowed for 27 photos. my daughter took her instax camera in earlier years and DD loved it as she could both send us photos in her letters as well as take and give photos to friends before leaving camp. They seemed to enjoy the novelty of having physical photos.

Thanks for these recommendations. The camp says no electronics so I worry that an instant camera would be considered an electronic?

Probably depends on the camp. My daughter is at a “no technology” camp for the summer but they allow battery operated instant cameras.
