If it exists, what’s your most boob supportive Lands End swimsuit?
I’m coming from wearing underwire swimsuits for several years. I can also get amazing support from Miraclesuit (one of mine has underwire, one doesn’t, both are doing great). I can’t wear anything* without an underwire. [*the exception stated above is fine because it’s so tight, molded, so super tight around the boobs. So, it stands to reason I can wear non-underwire, but it has to be extremely supportive in another way] |
Basically, I need new swim. I can get more bra-company-based suits, or miraclesuit again.
But I’m loving the choices from lands end right now, and my favorites are on sale. |
I wear a rash guard/swim shirt and an old (but still in good condition) regular underwire bra under that. I can't wear anything without underwire either. I'm a 38H cup. |
I am 32E. But the bounce is no longer there, and as I lose weight, the bounce disappears further. |
Op here, I searched their site for underwire so far so good.
Does anyone know what U-wire means on this listing? Their other listing make it clear if it’s either underwire or soft cups. https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-slendersuit-u-wire-bandeau-tankini-top/id_390690?attributes=2017,44093,44967 |
For that suit specifically, it's referring to the U-shaped wire gathering the fabric in the crevice between her breasts. Details specify "sewn-in soft cup bra," which is not a kind of theirs that I have tried. If you are worried about things staying up, I would avoid a bandeau top. I have worn tons of tankini tops from them (no bandeaus, although for the opposite reason--they slide down me because there's nothing to prevent them doing that and I end up having to tug at my suit, which is uncomfortable and which I also don't like as a look) and they all have underwires. |
