It’s $150 a night. |
Whoa! Why are you spending that much? That's extremely high cost for boarding a dog. |
That’s about double what you should be paying around here and no, you don’t tip. |
It's actually 2 dogs, does that make a difference? |
I paid $200 per night for a Presidential Suite at Seneca Hill Pet Resort. No tip. |
Tip if you want to but you don't HAVE to. |
I don’t think that’s as outrageous as others think. Especially if it’s somewhere that has staff 24 hours and the webcams where you can see your dogs at any time. Also for the places that offer play sessions in addition to walks. |
Of course it makes a difference. |
No it doesn't. No tip. You don't even know who you're tipping. They set the prices, you pay. It's different if you have someone coming to your house. |
Obviously. It's twice as expensive to board 2 dogs. I pay $45/night for my dog (80lb labrador) at my vets office. $150/night is still steep, but if you're using an ultra-fancy place it's in line with what others have paid. No tip. |
Well that explains why it’s twice as expensive, but no you still do not tip. |
You could pay someone to stay at your house for $100 per night. Paying that for a kennel is crazy.
No tip |
I boarded my dogs at my vet office and went away for 2 weeks. I sent the office a cookie cake while they were boarded and that went over well. |
Never tipped boarding service for one dog, brought boxes of donuts once but the ones cared for my dog probably weren’t there, instead the front desk ladies had the donuts. Anyways. We changed to a smaller boarding facility and they were good, I gave good online review and complimented the employees there. |
