I’m tallish, my stomach isn’t my best asset, and I cannot successfully wear any shirt shorter than 24”. I hate having to contract companies to ask about the length and/or making returns. I’m not asking for a pattern. I just want to know the length of the actual item in my size. Why is this so hard? It seems like companies woods save a lot on returns this way. Am I the only one who cares? |
You can try asking customer service. |
It is annoying! They usually pick body measurements for a fit chart or garment measurements. I think body measurements probably work better for them because people don’t know how much ease there should be.
As a tall person though, I feel you. You usually get inseam and maybe rise for pants, length for dresses, but rarely anything for tops. |
People here mock Talbots, but they put the shirt length on their site. |
Yes, it's very frustrating. I'm not tall, but I have a long torso for my height and clothing size. I look for clues, in photos and descriptions that shirts are actually longer length. |
I, too, want to be able to filter by length - 22" is way too short for me and descriptions like "hits between waist and hip" are meaningless. |
