Squid Game S3

Y'all...

That second episode reduced me to tears, and I'm honestly having trouble now that they... um... reallocated 222's number

I know it's never been a soft or sweet show, but this season seems particularly brutal, psychologically speaking. Anyone else watching?

Yes. This season had a much higher concentration of brutal, cruel characters. Yet most characters were not well fleshed out. The number reallocation was mind-boggling, poor script decision imo.

Stick with it. The finale is good.

honestly i had hoped for the reallocation to be in a tux in the dinner ep.

I really liked season 3 (did not like season 2). I just wish there had been a happier ending.

I was disappointed in the ending. Idk, I guess I was just expecting… more. I can’t explain it. My DH called the ending as soon as baby came, but I thought something would still happen to stop the games. They all vote X, or the fire alarm goes off and they evacuate early. Idk I’m left unsatisfied.

I do think the next season(s) will also explore In-ho’s (frontman) back story. We saw a tiny sliver in this, so what else will we see?

I also wonder, did he (in-ho) spend his time in running the games to prove that everyone would make the same awful choices he did? He finally found someone he couldn’t corrupt to a fault?

This season was way more brutal. Even though there were the same amount of deaths, there were so many of the players killing each other vs the game killing them.

I was disappointed that the game just continued at the end with no consequence.

I thought season 3 was the end?

Can I watch season 3 without watching season 2?

OP here. I finished it. OOOF! But yes, good. And that little twist character at the end! I want more of this show, and am sad it's over.

The way it's left leaves plenty of room for more seasons, but I think this was the end. I'd love to be wrong about that though!

Kinda? I mean, the basic premise is there, but you'll miss a LOT about how/why the characters end up the way they do. At a minimum, read some spoilers. For me, it's worth watching in order.

The show runner said it’s the end, but David Fincher is directing an American spinoff. Which I presume the surprise guest star at the end teases.

S3 is the end of the Korean version. Seems they move to LA and will be starting it there with Kate, per the very end. I saw SG USA will start filming in Dec.

We laughed at the end of the finale because we thought it was stupid. We did the same at the end of Game of Thrones.
