...what are these people thinking? |
I would judge the hell out of this and also really appreciate it... |
Ha, I have never seen that before. It's super tacky though I'm sympathetic to not wanting a big influx of toys that your kid will be interested in for all of 3 days. |
I don’t care as long as it includes a variety of reasonable choices. Have at it! |
It wouldn’t bother me. I either take part, or I don’t. |
Tacky |
Tacky. I actually RSVPed ‘no’ to a kid party solely because the mom posted a registry in the Evite. |
Tell us more - how old and what social class? I've never heard of this before!!! |
It’s practical, but it is tacky as hell. Therefore, it is a no go. If I saw this, I would make a point of buying something not on the registry. |
Worse if she involved her kid. If they sat together picking out toys they want people to buy them that’s the start of greed for the child if he hasn’t already learned it. |
Same. |
Did they actually include it in the evite? Or was it the generic age based one that evite will put in and not let you remove (for ad revenue) if you don't pay for the subscription? |
You denied your kid going to a friends party because of a registry? You are more crazy than the eviter. |
I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t think this is tacky. I would love it if parents did this. Especially for the younger kids where you may not know what the birthday child likes.
Also, evite does force you to have a link to Amazon gift ideas if you don’t pay for their premium service so it may just have been that. |
Super tacky. |
