CTY Residential Camp Question

My daughter is at CTY at Dickinson College. She just arrived on Sunday and is complaining that her group leaves the dorm at 7am each day and is gone all day long, with no privacy or opportunity for downtime. She’s not complaining about the amount of class time, but says they waste time waiting around for the rest of the group, so they don’t get any downtime. She referred to waiting for 30 minutes in the auditorium between activities/classes, for example. This sounds strange to me. Any experienced CTY parents that can help confirm or interpret what I’m hearing? Thank you!
