Wegovy is available again via Caremark mail-order

I have Federal Blue Cross standard, and since my coupon expired a few months ago, I was paying $600/month, which was not sustainable. Thankfully it is available again via Caremark mail-order, and a three-month supply is $120.

Do they ship the Wegovy in ice packs? In this heat, I’d be worried about mail order Wegovy being defective by the time it arrives.

I’m on FEP Blue Standard - the programs
thru Novo and Lilly (for Zepbound vials) are less than the Tier 3 cost.

Haven’t gotten my Rx because my doctor suggested I figure out what insurance coverage I have for Wegovy and Zepbound…

Just have your doctor send a three-month prescription to Caremark mail-order. I wasn't eligible for Zepbound coverage but I was for Wegovy. For Zepbound, you need to have tried and failed with a bunch of other meds.

I got my first mail order shipment today. It came in a styrofoam cooler with frozen gel packs. Temps were fine, luckily I was home when it was delivered.

Only the maintenance doses of 1.7 and 2.4 are available via mail order and for the reduced cost of $125.
