Tufts is one.
WF? Tulane. |
I’m starting to think of Vanderbilt this way. It’s a great school, but it shouldn’t be as hard to get into as Duke. |
So many, especially to those who haven’t applied or had kids applying in 25+ years.
Indiana Kelly U South Carolina Florida/georgia/auburn JMU and VT, closer to home. |
UMD if in state from a W school. 50% does not tell the real picture. |
Dartmouth and Pomona seem like Don't Bother Applying schools. Of course they are both small, but I think they are both impossible for unhooked students that don't go to feeder schools.
Agree that Vanderbilt is tough. So is Rice - a top stats only school. Also USC. And some OOS publics like Texas, UNC, and Georgia Tech. |
Villanova |
100% |
Boston College |
Northeastern. |
I admit I thought my kid had a chance at Washington U and Vanderbilt with their stats, right, ECs etc.
But not in RD and not in CS. |
*rigor not rights |
Tulane, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Auburn |
Tennessee this year was much harder than I was expecting. |
Depending on the major...Cal Poly SLO, San Diego State, San Jose State, UCs Irvine, Santa Barbara, and Davis can be tough. |
Caltech. Tied with Hopkins, Duke, and Northwestern in US news but MUCH harder to get into than those schools |
