I really liked this new documentary about Jacinda Ardern's time as Prime Minister of NZ during a crisis-ridden period.
It's worth seeing in an actual movie theater, since it has a lot of news footage shot at large scale. It just opened last week and probably won't be in theaters long. I brought two people with me and there was only one other person at our showing. This documentary is released in conjunction with her new book. I found it interesting to hear directly from her about her thoughts on leadership, power, struggling with being a working mom, etc. It was touching to watch her daughter grow from birth to about 4. (Don't watch the Stephen Colbert clip at the link below because it will spoil one of the most touching parts of the movie.) https://primeministerdoc.com/ |
