| I'm trying to schedule my yearly mammogram and I typically go to Washington Radiology on K Street. For the last week, everytime I call, there is a wait time of 12/13/15 minutes. I wait upwards of 20 minutes and no one ever answers the phone. There is no button on the website to schedule online for DC. Anyone else dealing with this? Have you been able to get through? I even tried calling Bethesda and it's the same situation. |
| I had the same problem about a month ago when calling for a MRI appointment. Left messages at Fairfax, DC, and Bethesda. Fairfax and Bethesda called back within 30 mins. Never heard back from DC. |
| That’s the key - don’t call the DC office. But if you’re just getting a regular screening mammogram, I think those can be scheduled online? |
| I called last week and waited for a while. When I finally got through to a scheduling person, she said they were migrating from an old software system to a new one. Scheduling a regular mammogram ended up taking over 20 minutes because she was inputing information in both systems. I imagine that the migration is causing issues with scheduling so that might be the issue. I wasn't able to schedule online...it didn't even give me an option, which confused me because I'd done that before. That's also probably because of the migration. I guess my recommendation would be to call the scheduling number (which is I believe a 703 number but you can schedule for DC offices) and have some patience. |
