It’s going to be crowded, full of MAGA, hot and potentially rain. No way would I go into the city this weekend.
Do you know anybody going? |
Well, I live here so...
I'll be avoiding the parade area but otherwise going about my weekend. |
I don't know anyone going to the parade. I do know people going to No King protests throughout the country. |
I also know of no one planning to be downtown that doesn’t reside there. I think crowded may be questionable. |
I hope it rains so much that they all get flooded out. |
We have to go to Union Station and I'm dreading even that |
Excellent. Stay home and clean your house. |
I love here. I’m not planning to go downtown though. |
I don't think it's going to be bad. I saw on social media that they have ads posted all over trying to hire seat fillers for the parade so that the area in the line-of-sight to the VIP area looks full.
They are offer $1000 paid through Crypto for seat fillers. I think they need to know their audience. My MAGA relatives don't trust Crypto and think it's akin to Monopoly money. |
We had plans to go into Dc for dinner and a show but switched our plans to Sunday instead. Don’t know anyone who is planning to attend the parade. |
I live here and can't leave because we have a full slate of kid-centric events this weekend, including some downtown near the parade route. I would love to skip town but it's not in the cards.
I'm hoping for an extremely underwhelming attendance due to the rain, but also hoping there is no rain between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday so we can get somewhere via public transit given that there will be no parking due to the stupid Big Baby's Birthday Parade. |
Isn't it, though? Non maga skeptic. |
"full of maga" I actually doubt it will be that crowded. |
I say downtown or to the Hill. I live in Arlington. |
The whole thing is awful, and I hate Trump an MAGA. But I kind of want to see this -- it's going to be something to crazy to behold. I won't go though. |
