I don't have anything against nose rings or other facial piercings in general, and her other strong style choices don't bug me at all (the shaved head, her nails, the earrings), but the bull nose ring is just so distracting, I really wish she'd remove it. I was watching the Tony's last night and even when she was singing, it just felt like the nose ring draws the eye in this very distracting way.
I just don't think it flatters her face at all and because she chooses such large and often sparkly rings to wear there, it just draws all your attention to her nostrils. Not even her nose, but specifically her nostrils. I just do not get it. I know no one asked, but I've been thinking about it ever since last night and just had to get it off my chest. She should ditch it! |
Same. |
I agree. I think she has too much going on. |
It’s ugly. Piercings and tats are generally ugly. Fight me. |
Well, good thing no one asked you |
Yes |
Yes, she looks so much better without it. |
Agreed. I can't stand the bull nose rings. The others are fine, but the huge hoop is gross. I don't want my attention drawn to your nostrils. Ugh. |
I don’t like her. Flame away. And I don’t like her voice either |
OP, what is your cultural background? |
I find all nose, eyebrow, and lip piercings gross and distracting, especially when someone has multiple. |
OP here and I have actually seen bull nose rings that I think worked and were flattering. Thinking about it, I think it's about the balance of features and jewelry. I just don't think her specific nose ring works with the rest of her look. Instead of complementing her features, it pulls focus. She has a beautiful face and very expressive eyes, but they are overshadowed by the nose ring. |
I'm mixed race. Why does it matter? I'm not opposed to nose piercings in general, I just think this one doesn't work with her features. |
I can't look at her anymore. |
I like her voice but not her style. The bald head doesn’t bother me but the nails and nose ring do. But to others, I’m sure they love it. It’s aggressive styling and I do support freedom of expression. She does look way better in those than I ever would, that’s for sure! |
