Randolph Macon Academy summer aviation camp

Dear All, my kid is interested in aviation and we are somewhat new to the area. I see that Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal has an aviation camp. While we are late to apply for this summer camp, I'd like to ask if anybody attended it previously and what your impression was. Useful? or just glorified baby-sitting for teenagers with occasional ride on Cessna? Also would be very grateful for any other pointers to good STEM camps for 8th grader. Thank you in advance!

Bullis used to have an excellent aviation camp. Not sure if they still have it.

Cannot speak specifically to their camp, but RMA is very serious about their flight program during the school year. They have had flight instruction for RMA students many years. They also offer J-AFROTC during the school year, which dovetails with the emphasis on flight.
