What games do you play across the phone with friends?

I’m looking for a game to play with a cousin who moved to the Midwest. Something we just download an app and can go back and forth.

Honestly, we mostly just communicate through memes and sharing funny TikTok vids in our Telegram group chat.

I used to play Words with Friends but then I got annoyed because you could buy things like tile swaps, etc. and it it's not fun to me if people can spend money to win. I know, I sound like a huge grouch but I actually didn't communicate with my friends via the game anyway.

If you're looking for something to change things up, OP, have you tried Marco Polo? It's basically video messages instead of texts. We did it during COVID and some of the videos were hilarious.
