Where else could we combine with an 8 day trip to Montreal/ QC in late July ? Would like something outdoors , natural , maybe coastal
Looking at eastern Canada because we’ve already been to Banff / lake Louise and don’t want to travel as far as Vancouver |
Quebec is huge, plenty of other places to go in 8 days like mountains or villages along the St Lawrence. I haven’t been in years so cant give specifics. If you want to go to the beach you should fly. |
Mt. Tremblant |
Tadoussac. See other post about whale Watching for more information. |
Cabot trail |
Take a look at Tremblant /Montreal. |
About a 13 hour drive from Quebec City |

We’ve stayed at Le Grand Lodge in Mt Tremblant. A bit dates but on a small lake that you can go kayaking on and there are shops and restaurants in the town nearby. We went with young teens, and they really enjoyed the lake and the lodge. There was also sand volleyball, fire pits and s’mores in the evenings. |
