We secured a PK4 spot and were able to enroll in after care at that school.
We are also on waitlists for two other programs that we would strongly prefer to attend. For one of them, we fall within the historical data for getting an offer by June or August. But I’m concerned that even if that happened we would not be able to secure after care. Is there anyway to know if an after care program has spots? Do after care lists move? We’re trying to figure out if it just makes sense to keep our spot and drop off the other waitlists. We’re not in a position to take a spot where we cannot get aftercare. |
If you get a waitlist offer, that's a question you can ask the registrar when it happens. So, unless you really want to lock in to your current option now, I don't think there's necessarily value in dropping off the waitlists.
If you share the names of the two schools you prefer, folks here can tell you if there are likely to be aftercare slots. |
Agree with the prior post. Don't drop from the waitlist just yet. After care waitlists rarely move but sometimes new options pop up or additional classes are added. |
OP here, thanks for replying.
We’re really hoping to get a spot at Capitol Hill Montessori. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed all summer. |
