Despite witnesses and evidence, response to do nothing was supported by top MCPS leadership and the General Counsel’s Office. It was an abuse of power. Why? Because MCPS administrators normally can get away with it 99.9% of the time.

Staff, parents, and students are powerless when trying to exercise their basic civil rights when facing an adversary that has unlimited legal representation and control over their job or educational opportunities. This normal business practice of MCPS to ignore complaints has created a toxic environment in schools for staff and students including leaving predatory staff in place to inflict further harm on new victims.

Every Principal, Director, Associate Superintendent on up has been tainted by these types of practices. They should look into their souls and contemplate the damage they have done to others when they ignored legitimate complaints. Do I think they all should be exposed? Yes - even the ones who have transferred to other jurisdictions for promotions.

Can you support any of your claims? I thought the investigation concluded there was no evidence of wrongdoing?

MCPS's hired lawyers found that nobody involved with the PROMOTION violated MCPS policy or engaged in any intentional misconduct. There was obviously misconduct associated with the investigation of Biedleman. And obviously, anyone should take their findings about the promotion with a grain of salt given who wrote the report.

I don't think anything is obvious here, but good to know there was no intentional misconduct.

I have to wonder if you are here to make MCPS look bad by pretending to be someone trying to defend them yet who continues to post obvious and transparent lies. Yes, the report found that there was intentional misconduct.

I find the name of the Office for School Support and Welbeing to be such a misnomer.

Does Central Office care about the well-being of its staff? No.

Does Central Office care about the well-being of students? No.

The only thing Central Office staff care about is their bloated pay and next promotion.

NP - I greatly disagree. Just because you keep posting incorrect info doesn’t make it true. People have actually read the redacted report. I’m sure it will even pale in comparison with the IG report when that’s released.

It’s shameful all the spin that MCPS is attempting. You wonder why the public doesn’t trust MCPS anymore.

If everything Central Office did was okey-dokey, why has one high ranking staff member left and several others are on administrative leave? They have been gutted to the point of bringing back retirees.

Seems like you're committed to the worst possible conclusions simply because you have an axe to grind with MCPS.

Another liar. The report clearly found that MCPS employees engaged in intentional misconduct. But by all means, please keep posting the lies. It helps to keep this thread alive.

Only the most craven bullies describe the public accusations by victims of sexual harassment and the report by MCPS's own lawyers as "gossip"

Thank you. Just so everyone knows...sexual harassment and MCPS covering things up will not go away just because it makes you uncomfortable. Keep this thread alive and make MCPS uncomfortable AND accountable. These jerks sit high up in their office. They need to understand they still are accountable. Knowledge is power. The more we know the less they can hide.

Did the new acting deputy superintendent step in?

Key members of MCPS leadership learned details about the pending MCPS investigation and the disposition of that investigation by July 19, 2023, but did not share that information with the Board until on or about August 4, 2023.

That wall of text doesn't really tell as much of anything.
