Cute walking sandals

Anonymous
Looking for cute sandals comfortable enough for walking a few hours at a time for a trip this summer. I'm not into outdoor/hiking sandals, but instead something that i can wear with casual dresses. I like a more feminine look so not clunky. I'm looking at something like this- but not sure if its comfortable for long walking.

I came across these and not something I would normally wear especially since they are EVA/plastic but get good reviews for comfort

Does anyone have these? Other suggestions?

I like the second pair.

About the first, not a huge fan of wedges for walking; especially if the streets are uneven, e.g. brick, cobblestone.

For this summer, I would suggest the below for dresses.
They also make EVA shoes that are adorable. I'm seeing both everywhere. Essentially the two pictures above are knockoff designs. You might as well get the real thing. The footbeds are great for your feet.

I just bought these but they have many other styles. Taos shoes are reliably comfortable and supportive (PF) for me.

For espadrilles, I like the Spanish sandal company.

Sorry, I haven’t tried either shoe you mentioned.

I find these wedges a bit high, but they are very comfortable.

Olukai sandals and flip flops are very comfortable.
I have these and can walk comfortably for a couple of hours in them, but there are many styles to choose from.

There are a lot of options like this at Nordstrom right now at various price points. I see these are at Nordstrom, but if you have only looked on line it might make sense for you to go in person if you can.

These are marketed at older women. I wouldn't recommend these for OP, given how what she posted is a lot more current/stylish.

I've traveled a lot in the summer. There is no such thing as a non-sporty sandal that is both cute and actually supportive enough for hours of walking. The suggestions here either look geriatric or like they will leave you in pain.

Either choose a sport sandal or wear sneakers that pair well with dresses. I'm telling you this from experience.

Tom’s and Reefs are more current/stylish? 🤨

Where did it say that in the PP? Oh right -- nowhere.

Do not "choose a sport sandal." Better to walk around in the ugliest geriatric sandals available than a pair of Tevas or something.

Just go to Nordstrom and try on whatever you like in person. DCUM has the worst advice re: shoes, because whatever someone loves, another will hate. Just pick whatever you like and enjoy your summer.

American eomen should never wear sandals. It's cultural appropriation of Asia and Africa

What do you think Native American women wore?
