U10 Boys offer - PPA green vs BSC Blue?

Anyone want to weigh in on which is a better offer for my highly motivated soccer son?

PPA Green. You can move over later.

PPA Green has access to the top DC kids at U10. The top kids across clubs scrimmage and play pickup together. None of the DC clubs seem to understand this which is why they all leave DC clubs and head to SYC, Alexandria, Arlington, Achilles and Bethesda after they get good outside of practice playing pickup and futsal.

You should gain access with PPA Green. Anything below Bethesda II, you will not.

Can’t comment on Bethesda but I would not go below blue in PPA. The chances of making green are slim coming from orange and the quality is not great. We know a few kids on orange who are reasonably happy, so if the kid just wants to play for fun, it should be ok. If you have top team ambitions, it might not be the best fit.
