Anyone see this about an Eagle Ridge Middle School kid from Loudon County? Anyone know what, if anything, the school doing about it?

Try spelling Loudoun correctly, idiot.

This is basically all the boys these days. It’s a straight line from 2016.

It's pretty clear at least one of the boys is a next door neighbor since he's shooting hoops in the driveway.

I'm a little confused what the 5 yo was doing out on the porch alone.

Restorative practices? For those pieces of crap? Parents of the ms kid, you gotta be so proud.

The entire video is posted on youtube. It is far, far worse than the news video.

I am furious.

This type of bullying is pervasive and in neighboring counties as well. Lots of times it happens on the school bus. Very little is ever done to the perpetrators. There is no accountability. Restorative Justice is a big joke. Granted this happened off school grounds and the child does not yet attend school, but the kid who was harassing him filmed himself and his pals with him laughed. The video was spread throughout the school. Those of you who say no big deal - watch the video and ask yourselves, would you like this to happen to a family member?

Obviously, it’s a big deal. But the school has no place in doling out punishment for the kid. It’s infuriating that so many keep trying to drag LCPS into this.

One way to make sure this doesn’t happen again is to hold the parents and families accountable. Let’s name names. I don’t care if they are Black, White, Asian, Latin, or whatever. What these kids did were deplorable and since the school can’t punish them, maybe the shame and stigma will teach them and their families a valuable lesson.

So you think the cure for bullying is more bullying?

This! I actually think the news story was a disservice. People need to watch the entire video. It's heartbreaking and so disturbing.

And you think that a teenager who not only racially harassed a 5 year old but then himself chose to post the incident on social media deserves to be protected from public scrutiny?
