Our DD meets weekly with school coach, but it doesn’t seem to stick and there is a flurry of lost assignments, overflowing backpacks, and general chaos in homework and the state of her bedroom.
We are trying to find an executive coach, and curious how it works with them? Honestly meeting with them several times or even daily seems necessary to make real change — is that what people do? Or does a weekly checkin really effect change? Recommendation for a coach in NOVA would be appreciated, and maybe a description of their schedule and approach if available. |
Daily at first for the big re-set, then weekly w coach and a few times a week w parent.

We used several through Educational Connections which is a local company but sessions were online. With my son the first one was fine. I also liked she would only charge me for the time she spent--30 min, 45, etc. With my daughter the first one was not a good match and wanted to meet twice a week which we did not have time for. We asked for a new match and I liked the new one just fine. |
