Best Marriott property in Hawaii

We have a gazillion Marriott points. Looking higher end properties with larger than average rooms or suites if possible, close to activities more than the beach. All adults, Dec-Jan

Ritz Kapalua has full kitchen suites overlooking ocean. Expensive. Cole’s with nice lounge with good breakfasts and cocktails. Only downside is our unit could have used some upgrades

Ritz Turtle Bay. In Waikiki, believe it or not, the Sheraton.

+1 on Ritz Kapalua. We stayed last year in an ocean view room and had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the property.

We’ve stayed at the Ritz Kapalua and Mauna Kea on the Big Island and both were great.

Define a gazillion. 400k? 2 million?

Mauna kea. Unbelievably wonderful, outstanding mostly private beach.

Hated the Ritz kapalua. Felt like Disney with people throwing towels on chairs at 7am. Kids constantly in the adult only hot tub (I have kids, so I don’t hate them, I just don’t want to be splashed by them in a hot tub). Beach area is small and rocky. Resort is pretty far from most stuff. I wished we’d stayed at the 4 Seasons tbh.

Also did not enjoy it there. It was so windy too. Turtle Bay is beautiful, and I loved the lobby. The rooms aren’t typical ritz standard but the views around the property is truly stunning.
