Scheduled TV setup today but the TV was damaged. Verizon Fios scheduled Thor two days from now - should we keep appointment? The TV install guy said it might be better if Verizon comes first but Verizon said it’s better to come after. Does it matter? We haven’t re scheduled the TV delivery with new (undamaged) TV yet. Does it matter? |
Well, one will have to come first. 😀
Do you want TV first so you can check fios? Or do you want fios first to check tv setup? Which one can you do on your own? |
Tv first, as it sounds like you are kinda helpless in hooking things up.
TV "setup" just involves taking out of the box and putting a stand on it or hanging it. Even the internet guy could do that for you if you slip him a $50 and a smile. |
They need some TV to verify things are working. |
We literally paid for delivery and installation. The TV was defective per the installation tech and he took it back. It had nothing to do with helplessness. I was simply asking which item is more efficacious to have installed first per the perspective of the installers for each, as the two have given me conflicting guidance and I’m trying to reschedule th TV delivery. |
But why?? As far as your question, chicken and egg conundrum. Either really doesn't matter, it's the people doing the installing that matter. |
