I live in a suburb with mainly married families, and they are lovely, but I'd like to meet more single moms, ideally ones with less interest in dating and more interested in getting together to do stuff. Hike, Game Night, Service opportunities, Book Club, Pickleball etc. I have less money now than my neighbors and am looking to find more single parents and those who are on a more similar income level to hang out with. Should I just join groups separately that have these interests or are there middle age single parent groups I can find in the DC area?
I don’t get it. You’d “like to meet more single moms” to do a various activities with. You have less money than your neighbors? And you want hang with people with “similar income levels.” HARD PASS.
