I had not realized that in discussion with friends that people are only listing 1-2 adults not the minors in the room.
|
yes |
Of course, it literally asks you when you book the hotel. |
Yes, because they're teens and I want the room options for 4 people not the one king bed. I just put them as adults because I'm lazy and hate picking their ages every single time. It makes absolutely no difference in price. |
It doesn’t matter if they’re not teens you’re gonna fit all four of you and a bed even with toddlers? One time they try to do this to us to “upgrade“ us from two double beds to a king and we’re like no no! There are four of us! |
Do they charge you more? Why does that matter? Trying to be cheap? |
No, occupants are for 18 and older. |
No. Go try to book a hotel room right now and you will see it Ask for how many adults and how many children |
You are not charged extra in most US hotels as long as it’s not an all inclusive hotel and you aren’t exceeding room occupancy. They just don’t care. |
In Europe, it will cost you more but not in the US. |
In Us no, in Europe yes. But we usually book them in separate suites bc their nanny was always with them anyway. |
The only fee should be if an extra bed is requested IMO. |
I list everyone. |
It does not matter. At all. |
List everyone. When we run house reports twice a day (literally print them out), that lets us know how many people to look for in case of emergency. Imagine us not knowing you had 2 young children in the event of a fire, earthquake, building collapse, etc and you not being able to tell emergency services that your kids are buried under debris. |
