For as long as I can remember, I’ve battled crazy “food noise” in my head. I come from a family of addicts for food, alcohol, and drugs. I myself went the health nut route to be different and have always maintained a normal weight. Ever since hitting my mid 40s, I’ve noticed that hunger and associated food noise have been off the charts. I started intermittent fasting to help, and am maintaining my weight albeit a few pounds above normal, but I am constantly battling that food noise in my brain, especially at night when cravings hit hard. I don’t act on them because I don’t want to gain, but they are driving me crazy… it’s like nonstop. I keep reading about how ozempic shuts this off, which sounds like heaven. Has anyone used it not to lose weight but to help with the constant food battle in the brain?
