Checking out the area with the goal of discerning which neighborhood to buy in (relocating for a job opportunity). Any must see/do/eat while there? Going for a week in April. TIA! |

Don't get mugged. Very dangerous area now. |
Wonderful Museum district near the TCU campus.
Kimball Art Museum is literally my favorite Museum in the world. I love Ft. Worth! |
Second the Kimbell, Museum of Modern Art and the Amon Carter Museum.
The Stockyard cattle drive and rodeo is fun, especially if you have kids. If you like country music, check out what's going on at Billy Bob's Texas. https://www.fortworthstockyards.org |
lol as compared to…Fargo? Fort Worth is the 11th largest city in the country and has very low crime stats. Impressively low. |
Find out the hard way then. |
Plus one to the incredible art museums and the Cowgirl Museum, still-active stockyard (we popped in and saw some riding there) and Billy Bob’s. Must be seen. Dancing, bull riding, concert venue all under one roof and next to the stockyard. Joe Ts is great too! |
Our hometown is Frisco, TX but have family in Ft. worth and just came back. We went to Stockyards, Billy Bob’s, Jubilee Theatre, and went to Southlake to this entertainment center called Evo Southlake and Grapevine (historic district) was cute and fun!!! |
