4 Days in Istanbul

5 nights, 4 days booked. Is it worth doing a dya trip and staying 1 night somewhere else or just staying in Istanbul

I spent 6 days in Istanbul (and 2 weeks extra split between the west and south of the country)…but I wish I had spent more than 6 days. There is just so much to see and do and eat!

Which is to say that I would not do a day trip.

Agree with the above. Lots to do in Istanbul in 4 full days.

You can do a part daytrip via ferry to Buyukada, a tiny island off the coast. That’s as far as I’d go- so much to do in Istanbul.

We had a week total, but we stayed in Istanbul and did a day trip (by plane) to Ephesus. Definitely worth it, but with just 4 days, you may not want to give up a day in Istanbul.
