Academies of Loudoun Admissions for 2025/2026

Anonymous
Unfortunately Academies of Loudoun does not provide a specific date for finding out acceptance - the website just says March.

Has anyone been accepted? My son’s account still says Submitted, which I assume means decisions have not been made.

I heard from DD (from her teacher) the results will be published on Mar 15. Do they provide the test scores as well? Or just Accepted or Rejected/ Waitlisted?

I’m wondering is the new policy of kids needing to get their own transportation to their assigned elementary school to catch the bus to Academies of Loudoun will cause people to decline.

Just an acceptance /rejection email. No scores.

Why would this be a cause? Right now it’s from middle school - don't see much difference.

Where I’m at, kids can take their normal bus to the high school and catch a bus to AL. Kids who don’t live close enough to the elementary school may not have transportation to get there.

It just seems like many of the places where it’s already inconvenient and a long trek (mainly western Loudoun and parts of Sterling) will still be inconvenient, but then again from those schools your odds are probably better for getting in. If you go to say Briar Woods or Independence it’s pretty close no matter what but getting in can be super competitive because of the quotas per middle school.

No. Anyone using AL does not care about driving/walking to the local ES.

Student Portal results are out today. The status changed.

Is there a way parents can log in and check? Would love to know how to prepare to react...

How do I check ?

You need to login to LCPS Go to check the status. DD checked herself and she was not offered. They gave only 2 days to accept for those who were offered.
