LA-- where to stay?

| USC, Scripps, Occidental. They are all over so staying near a college will likely make no sense. We'll have a car there. |

LA traffic is bad enough that I’d still consider the school locations. I’d recommend somewhere around Glendale/Pasadena. That’ll put you near Occidental College and better positioned for Scripps. Unless you had additional site seeing in mind. |

Went to Huntington Library last August. One of the most impressive places I've visited. |

Yeah that was my first thought as well. Or I might split the time between say Pasadena and somewhere more central to touristy places like Westwood or Century City, to also visit USC from. |
