DCPS day off Tuesday June 16, 2026?

| I was looking at the 2025-26 DCPS calendar (next school year). For June, it shows a school day Monday 6/15, then the last day Wednesday 6/17, but one of those days off just listed as "***" (not PD or PTC or whatever) on Tuesday 6/16. Anyone know what that is? Why have a day, then a mystery day off, then another day? |

| The last day of school is Friday, June 13. Anything beyond that is unimportant. |

| June 16 is Trump's birthday and a bill is currently in the house to make it a federal holiday. I REALLY HOPE DCPS is not anticipating its passage |

Primaries are every other year and then alternate between first Tuesday and third Tuesday. 2024 was first Tuesday, 2022 was 3rd Tuesday. |

The new WTU CBA includes "wellness days" for teachers which are days off without PD, etc.
Perhaps June 16 is one of those days? |

Trump's birthdays is June 14 and is also Flag Day. I believe June 16, 2026, is primary elections- (is a Tuesday) |
