Singapore Math Workbooks

If you have used Singapore Math workbooks to supplement at home, which ones/what level? I am confused by all the options. I have a 3rd grader who is slightly above average in math. Thanks for your help!

Off-topic A bit, but we buy the Kumon workbooks from Barnes & Noble that align with where our child is in math. One page front and back every day so that he gets enough repetition to really memorize math facts and how to do the math.

I used the Singapore primary math, 1a-6b, only textbook but not workbook ( no need since each session has practice questions). It’s good until 4th grade aap then we got some kumon workbook ( something like pre algebra, it shows little bit example from each session) from Amazon to use. Beyond that we got algebra & geometry textbook from aops to see some examples. Khan academy is good for math learning too.

I like Singapore Math , specifically Primary Math US Edition, which is the oldest and most Singaporey version. It is also the cheapest, and the one which you are most likely to find on the used market.

Levels are split A,B - thus you'll have Textbook 1A /Workbook 1A and optionally the Home Instructors Guide 1A, and then move on to 1B, then 2A, then 2B, and so on.

I supplement my average 2nd grader with the 2A/2B workbook. It matches his public curriculum although they do things out of order. He needs more repetition so that's why we supplement. I had an advanced kid who did a grade higher, then switched in 4th to AOPS which is more interesting to him.
