I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to enroll my 2.5 y/o in a full-time or part-time daycare. He turns 3 in June. Our DS has been with us and his nanny all his life, but our nanny has decided to move onto a new career. We also feel like DS should be around peers his age to help build his social and emotional skills. He's very attached to us, and we don't want the transition to be traumatizing for him. So we're unsure if transitioning him to a daycare PT will help ease him into it or just throw him in FT so he can adjust to it quicker.
We've toured over 10 schools and our DS seems to be happy with Rockville Nursery School and Kindergarten, Rock Spring Children's Center, and Georgetown Hill Congressional Plaza. Are there any parents willing to share their good or bad experiences with any of these schools? They're all around 10-15 mins away from where we live. I've been reading reviews left and right about these places but haven't found much on GHES CP since it's a newer location. Thanks and appreciate your time! ![]() |
