Strange house near Wheaton Plaza

I'm so glad you highlighted the kitchen sink. I might've missed it!

It's ugly but also tiny and in a weird spot.
Anonymous
It’s a copper sink.
Anonymous
It's copper not gold. *sighs*

It’s very nice inside, and very odd outside. Some people don’t mind.

Who in the world would want to spend that much money to live near Wheaton?
Anonymous
It's not a new build---the listing says it was built in the 1950s. The interior isn't so bad. It just needs a decor make-under, starting with the lighting fixtures.
Anonymous
The lighting is awful. Just soooo cheap and dumb looking. And I wonder who was drunk when they planned those windows on the front of the house.
Anonymous
The laundry situation isn't good.

Many people have paid more to live "near Wheaton". Just search Redfin for recent sales.

It's so ugly and it's a new build so someone planned this. The inside of the kitchen sink is gold?

It's listed as Kensington Heights, but I'd consider this Wheaton.

Nobody who lives in Wheaton would consider this Wheaton. It is close to Wheaton but Kensington Heights is correct. Kensington Heights is not the Town of Kensington and is zoned for Einstein HS.

That sink would make me stabby….not because of the color but its location. If the dishwasher is open you can’t stand at the sink, open the dishwasher, and load dishes. And don’t get me started on the 2” gap at the top of the cabinets. Trim molding should have closed this off. What a disaster of a kitchen.

That’s what the flips cost. This is a flip. Ugly but a flip.
Anonymous
Insanely ugly. I assume this is a 1950s split. Hard to make it uglier than the original house, but these flippers managed it!

On the other hand, it is right by Kenmont Pool (this is either a huge plus or huge minus) and very easily walkable to Wheaton Metro.
