I’m scheduled to have a medically necessary C section with him and just saw that he has some not great reviews on Yelp. My interactions with him have all been positive but I’m concerned particularly by a review saying he was dismissive of post surgery issues. One review calls him as a hack and accuses him of ignoring evidence based medicine. Can folks share their experience with him, specially for C sections? |
Switch obstetricians. If something goes sideways you will be mad at yourself. |
He did my c-section, and was wonderful. Throughout my pregnancy, he and the other doctors at Bloom took my concerns seriously and with empathy. I had a high risk pregnancy. C-section and recovery went well. |
Do people really Yelp review their doctors?? If you’re unsure about him, pick one of the other docs in the practice. Just ask to switch your c-section a day |
Dr. Osmun was excellent for my emergency C - I also had a whole host of other issues and was on hospital bedrest for 3 weeks. He and all of the other Bloom practitioners were incredibly empathetic and understanding. He was also excellent for any postpartum check ups. |
He delivered my son several years ago when he was with his prior practice. I had 100% positive experiences with him both for both prenatal care and during delivery. |
He performed my emergency c-section with my first born and was absolutely incredible. Helped me stay calm and reassured us the entire time, while the follow up care was personalized and thorough. Highly recommend him!!! Don’t believe everything you read on Yelp. |
Dr Osmun did my emergency c-section. He was excellent and I highly recommend him to anyone who asks. |
I think the person who made that review is a serious outlier. Dr. Osmun is one of the best doctors I’ve had.
Also Yelp is like the Craigslist personal ads of where you should be getting your doctor recommendations from… |
