Recommend Your 30" Induction Range

Anonymous
We have a Thermador gas range that we have loved but it might be coming to its end of life. I am on the fence with trying out another gas range (likely will move away from this), and thinking maybe I should start looking at induction ones instead. We do a lot of sauteing and stir-fry and not as much boiling of water. We have a huge vent on top of our current range, so don't really need any features where built-in venting is needed.

Please recommend your favorite high-end 30" induction or gas range. TIA.

Gas range: I love my Bluestar.

Induction - I’ve been enjoying my wolf induction range. But this is my first one, so I don’t have much compare to! I also sauté and stir fry a lot, and I love how easy it is to clean up with induction. I use parchment paper under my pans, and it allows me to move the pans around and keeps the surface clean. I can even clean/reuse the parchment a few times. It takes me about 3 min to completely clean the cooktop after cooking.

The top rated ones online are the LG (single oven) and the Cafe (dual oven). I was thinking of getting the latter.

Wow, I have an induction cooktop and did not know I could do this. What a great tip - thank you!

We are looking at 30” induction ranges with knobs (personal preference). Trying to decide between Bosch, Cafe, or splurging on a Miele. Would love any recent feedback. Thanks!

That's a great to volatilize, and fill your house with, PFAS.

I believe the thermador freedom (no burners— you can place your dish wherever you want) comes in 30”. I have the 36” and it looks and functions beautifully.
