Buses -Arlington open on time?

Will the buses work? When will we know?

When Fairfax makes the call, our super will do the exact same thing.

When they try to start them I'm guessing.

They already called 2 hr delay.

There are a lot of icy sidewalks because it was such a small snowfall that many shoveling companies didn’t send out crews.

Usually such snows melt within the day, the polar plunge was unusual.

2 hr delay seems feasible, when would they announce?
Anonymous
I don’t think the ice thing is gonna change. I feel like the bigger concern is warming up the buses and warming up the buildings.

Even a 2 hour delay has kids walking to bus stops at 8:30am, so the delay never helps as much as you think it's going to. It's still 12 degrees at 8:30am tomorrow.

The sun will be up though. Today didn't feel that bad in the sun but horrible in the shade.

The delay gives more time to get the buses running.

I think they announce by 6 pm, right? So, no delay planned. I guess if busses don’t start tomorrow morning, we’ll find out then.

No delay. Arlington is the anomaly this time.

Sorry kids. Beg your parents to move to Fairfax if you want constant delays and closures.
